JAKMAN is committed to maintaining the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of the scholarly record. When errors, ethical concerns, or other significant issues are identified before or after publication, the journal may issue a correction, retract an article, or permit withdrawal of a manuscript as appropriate. JAKMAN berkomitmen menjaga keakuratan, transparansi, dan integritas rekam ilmiah. Apabila ditemukan kesalahan, persoalan etika, atau permasalahan penting lainnya sebelum maupun setelah publikasi, jurnal dapat menerbitkan koreksi, melakukan retraksi artikel, atau mengizinkan penarikan manuskrip sesuai kondisi yang berlaku.
Policy Summary Ringkasan Kebijakan
Correction: Koreksi: Used when a published article contains an error that should be corrected while the article remains valid. Digunakan apabila artikel yang telah diterbitkan mengandung kesalahan yang perlu diperbaiki tetapi artikel secara keseluruhan tetap valid.

Retraction: Retraksi: Used when the findings, integrity, or publication record are seriously compromised. Digunakan apabila temuan, integritas, atau rekam publikasi mengalami masalah serius.

Withdrawal: Penarikan: Applies primarily to manuscripts before formal publication. Terutama berlaku terhadap manuskrip sebelum diterbitkan secara resmi.
 
1. General Principle 1. Prinsip Umum
JAKMAN seeks to preserve an accurate and trustworthy scholarly record. Post-publication changes are made only when necessary and should be transparent, clearly identified, and linked to the original publication. JAKMAN berupaya menjaga rekam ilmiah yang akurat dan dapat dipercaya. Perubahan pascapublikasi hanya dilakukan apabila diperlukan dan harus transparan, diidentifikasi secara jelas, serta dihubungkan dengan publikasi asli.
2. Corrections 2. Koreksi
A correction may be issued when a published article contains an error or omission that affects part of the article but does not invalidate its principal findings, conclusions, or overall integrity. Koreksi dapat diterbitkan apabila artikel yang telah dipublikasikan mengandung kesalahan atau kekurangan yang memengaruhi sebagian isi artikel tetapi tidak membatalkan temuan utama, kesimpulan, atau integritas artikel secara keseluruhan.

✓ Minor factual errors that do not alter the main conclusion. Kesalahan fakta minor yang tidak mengubah kesimpulan utama.
✓ Errors in author affiliation, author metadata, acknowledgments, or contact information. Kesalahan afiliasi penulis, metadata penulis, acknowledgments, atau informasi kontak.
✓ Errors in tables, figures, labels, units, or numerical presentation that do not invalidate the study. Kesalahan pada tabel, gambar, label, satuan, atau penyajian angka yang tidak membatalkan penelitian.
✓ Reference or citation errors requiring clarification. Kesalahan referensi atau sitasi yang memerlukan klarifikasi.
4. Correction Notice 4. Pemberitahuan Koreksi
When a formal correction is required, JAKMAN will publish a clearly identified correction notice that explains the nature of the error and the correction made. Apabila diperlukan koreksi formal, JAKMAN akan menerbitkan pemberitahuan koreksi yang diidentifikasi secara jelas, menjelaskan sifat kesalahan, serta perbaikan yang dilakukan.
The correction notice should be linked to the original article, and the article record should indicate that a correction has been issued. Pemberitahuan koreksi harus dihubungkan dengan artikel asli, dan rekam artikel harus menunjukkan bahwa koreksi telah diterbitkan.
5. Retractions 5. Retraksi
Retraction is considered when a published article is no longer reliable or when serious ethical or publication integrity concerns affect the validity or legitimacy of the scholarly record. Retraksi dipertimbangkan apabila artikel yang telah diterbitkan tidak lagi dapat dipercaya atau terdapat persoalan etika dan integritas publikasi yang serius sehingga memengaruhi validitas atau keabsahan rekam ilmiah.

! Evidence that findings are unreliable due to fabrication, falsification, major methodological error, or serious data problems. Bukti bahwa temuan tidak dapat dipercaya akibat fabrikasi, falsifikasi, kesalahan metodologis besar, atau masalah data yang serius.
! Plagiarism or substantial unattributed use of another work. Plagiarisme atau penggunaan substansial karya pihak lain tanpa atribusi yang semestinya.
! Duplicate, redundant, or unauthorized publication. Publikasi duplikat, redundan, atau tidak sah.
! Serious ethical violations involving participants, consent, confidentiality, or research approval. Pelanggaran etika serius terkait partisipan, persetujuan, kerahasiaan, atau persetujuan etik penelitian.
! Manipulated peer review, fraudulent authorship, or other serious publication misconduct. Manipulasi peer review, authorship palsu, atau pelanggaran publikasi serius lainnya.

When an article is retracted, JAKMAN will publish a retraction notice that clearly identifies the affected article and explains the reason for the retraction to the extent appropriate and legally permissible. Apabila artikel diretraksi, JAKMAN akan menerbitkan pemberitahuan retraksi yang mengidentifikasi artikel terkait secara jelas dan menjelaskan alasan retraksi sejauh layak serta diperbolehkan secara hukum.
The retraction notice will be linked to the original article. The article will generally remain part of the scholarly record but will be clearly identified as retracted. Pemberitahuan retraksi akan dihubungkan dengan artikel asli. 8. Article Removal 8. Penghapusan Artikel
Complete removal of a published article is considered exceptional. It may be necessary where continued public access would create serious legal, privacy, safety, confidentiality, or other significant harm. 9. Manuscript Withdrawal 9. Penarikan Manuskrip
Authors may request withdrawal of a manuscript before publication by submitting a formal request to the editorial office with a clear reason for withdrawal. Penulis dapat mengajukan penarikan manuskrip sebelum publikasi dengan menyampaikan permohonan resmi kepada pengelola jurnal beserta alasan penarikan yang jelas.
10. Withdrawal Request Requirements 10. Ketentuan Permohonan Penarikan
✓ The request should identify the manuscript title and submission information. Permohonan harus mencantumkan judul manuskrip dan informasi submission.
✓ The reason for withdrawal should be clearly explained. Alasan penarikan harus dijelaskan secara jelas.
✓ The request should be submitted by the corresponding author with the knowledge of the co-authors. Permohonan disampaikan oleh corresponding author dengan sepengetahuan co-author.

11. Withdrawal During Peer Review 11. Penarikan Selama Peer Review
Authors who request withdrawal after peer review has begun should provide a legitimate reason because editorial and reviewer resources may already have been committed. A manuscript should not be considered withdrawn merely because an author stops responding, submits the work elsewhere, or independently declares withdrawal without receiving confirmation from JAKMAN. 14. Editorial Investigation 14. Investigasi Editorial
Before issuing a correction, retraction, or other post-publication notice, the editorial team may seek clarification from the authors, reviewers, institutions, or other relevant parties and may request supporting documentation or data. Sebelum menerbitkan koreksi, retraksi, atau pemberitahuan pascapublikasi lainnya, tim editorial dapat meminta klarifikasi dari penulis, reviewer, institusi, atau pihak terkait lainnya serta meminta dokumentasi atau data pendukung.
15. Expression of Concern 15. Expression of Concern
JAKMAN may publish an Expression of Concern when there are substantial concerns regarding an article but the available evidence is not yet sufficient to support a correction or retraction. JAKMAN dapat menerbitkan Expression of Concern apabila terdapat kekhawatiran yang substansial terhadap suatu artikel tetapi bukti yang tersedia belum memadai untuk mendukung koreksi atau retraksi.
The notice may remain in place until the matter has been clarified or an appropriate final action has been determined. Pemberitahuan tersebut dapat tetap berlaku hingga persoalan memperoleh klarifikasi atau tindakan akhir yang sesuai telah ditetapkan.
16. Authors' Responsibility to Report Errors 16. Tanggung Jawab Penulis Melaporkan Kesalahan
If authors discover a significant error or inaccuracy in their submitted or published work, they should notify the JAKMAN Editorial Office promptly and cooperate in determining the appropriate corrective action. JAKMAN does not silently replace or alter the scholarly record when a formal correction, retraction, or other significant publication action is required. Relevant notices should remain visible and linked to the affected publication. JAKMAN tidak mengganti atau mengubah rekam ilmiah secara diam-diam apabila diperlukan koreksi formal, retraksi, atau tindakan publikasi penting lainnya. Requests for manuscript withdrawal, corrections, or reports concerning published articles should be sent to the JAKMAN Editorial Office with sufficient supporting information.
