Authors Garamond 10.5–11 pt, bold, centered
Affiliations Garamond 9–9.5 pt
Abstract Garamond 9.5–10 pt
Headings Garamond 11 pt, bold
References Garamond 10 pt, hanging indent 0.75 cm
3. Title
The title must be concise, specific, informative, and focused on the principal research topic. A maximum of 14 words is recommended. Unnecessary research locations and time periods should be avoided.
4. Authors, ORCID, Affiliations, and Corresponding Author
Each author is presented sequentially in the order Author Name → ORCID → Institutional Affiliation. Academic titles must not be included in author names. Numeric superscripts are used for affiliation codes. Affiliations should include institution, city, and country. One author must be identified as the corresponding author. Author and affiliation information must be consistent with OJS metadata.
5. Article Information
The final published article contains Type, Received, Revised, Accepted, Published, DOI, and Access information. Article-history dates are taken from the OJS activity log and must remain consistent with journal metadata.
6. Abstract

The abstract must contain 150–250 words in one concise paragraph and present the five essential components below:

Background / Problem
Objective
Methods
Results
Conclusion / Implication

Abstracts must not contain citations, tables, figures, references, undefined abbreviations, or unsupported general statements.

7. Keywords
Provide 3–5 keywords or key phrases representing the article's central concepts and supporting indexing and discoverability.
8. License and How to Cite
After the abstract and keywords, the article displays License and How to Cite information. Copyright remains with the Authors. JIMAT publishes articles under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. The How to Cite format follows the final article metadata.
9. Introduction
The Introduction must explicitly contain state of the art, research gap, novelty/contribution, and research objective. Authors should synthesize previous research rather than merely list citations. The research gap must identify what remains unresolved, inconsistent, insufficiently tested, or methodologically limited. The section should end with a clear research objective or research question.
10. Methods
The Methods section must provide sufficient information to evaluate research validity and enable reasonable replication. It should describe the research design, population/sample/dataset, sampling or selection procedures, instruments, system or algorithm, procedures, analytical or evaluation methods, validation, relevant software, and ethical considerations. Studies involving ethical approval, informed consent, personal-data protection, or anonymization must report these elements where applicable.
11. Results
Results must present the principal findings clearly and be supported by facts and data. Every table, figure, graph, diagram, or visualization must be followed by an explanatory paragraph identifying the most important pattern, comparison, relationship, trend, or anomaly and explaining its relevance to the research objective.
12. Discussion
The Discussion must provide analysis and synthesis rather than repeat the Results. Authors must interpret the findings, relate them to relevant theories or concepts, and compare them with previous studies. Agreements and differences with earlier research should be explained. The Discussion should identify the scholarly, methodological, technological, managerial, or practical contribution supported by the findings and state relevant limitations.
13. Conclusion
The Conclusion must directly answer the research objective or question, emphasize the most important finding or contribution, and state the principal implications. It must be concise, evidence-based, and free from overclaiming.
14. Statements Following the Conclusion

Where applicable, the manuscript should include the following statements before the References:

Acknowledgments
AI Usage Statement
Author Contributions
Funding Statement
Conflict of Interest
Data Availability Statement
Ethics Approval & Informed Consent

Author Contributions should follow the CRediT Taxonomy and list only actual contributions. Generative AI use must be disclosed where applicable, and authors remain fully responsible for all submitted content.

15. Tables, Figures, and Graphs
Tables and figures must be numbered sequentially and provided with informative captions. Images and graphs must be of sufficient quality and must not be manipulated in a misleading manner. Every table, figure, graph, diagram, or visualization must be followed by a substantive explanatory paragraph stating what can be concluded from the visual and how it relates to the analysis.
16. References
JIMAT uses APA 7th Edition. Authors must use reference-management software such as Mendeley or Zotero. Research articles should contain at least 15 references, prioritizing relevant primary and recent sources. References from the last ten years are preferred where appropriate, while seminal or classic sources may be retained where scientifically necessary. Active DOI links should be included where available.
17. Similarity Screening
JIMAT screens submitted manuscripts for originality and potential plagiarism. Editors assess the source and context of text overlap, attribution, citation practices, and text recycling. Screening results are evaluated alongside editorial and ethical considerations.
18. Peer Review
Manuscripts passing editorial screening undergo double-blind peer review by two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. Author identities are not disclosed to reviewers, and reviewer identities are not disclosed to authors during review. Submission, review, revision, and editorial decisions are conducted through Open Journal Systems (OJS).
19. Copyright, License, and Open Access

Copyright remains with the Authors. JIMAT provides Immediate Open Access and publishes articles under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. The license permits use, distribution, and adaptation provided appropriate attribution is given to the authors and the original source.
