JIMAT: Journal of Information Management and Technology is committed to maintaining the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of the scholarly record after publication. When concerns arise, the journal applies the most appropriate and proportionate action according to the nature, seriousness, and impact of the issue.

Correction
Amend errors without invalidating the article
Retraction
Address unreliable or seriously compromised research
Expression of Concern
Alert readers while concerns remain unresolved
Withdrawal
Applies primarily before final publication
Correction

A Correction may be issued when an error requires amendment but does not invalidate the overall reliability, interpretation, or principal conclusions of the article.

Correction Record

The correction notice will clearly identify the information being amended and will be linked to the original article so that readers can understand the nature of the change.

Retraction

A Retraction may be issued when the reliability or integrity of a published article is seriously compromised. Grounds for retraction may include:

• Major error affecting reliability
• Research or publication misconduct
• Plagiarism
• Redundant or duplicate publication
• Fabrication or falsification
• Unethical research
• Manipulation of peer review
• Misuse of another person's identity
• Other serious integrity violations

Retracted articles will not be silently removed from the scholarly record except in exceptional legal, privacy, or safety circumstances. The retraction status will be clearly identified and linked to the original article.

Expression of Concern
An Expression of Concern may be issued when serious questions exist regarding the integrity or reliability of an article, but the investigation has not been completed or the available evidence is not yet sufficient to support a final corrective decision.
Withdrawal

Withdrawal generally applies to manuscripts before final publication. A withdrawal request must be submitted by the corresponding author through OJS or the official JIMAT email at jimat@pthcn.org , together with a clear explanation for the request.

Editorial Consideration

The editor will consider the manuscript's stage in the editorial process, the reason for withdrawal, and the need to protect the integrity and administrative record of the editorial process.

Transparency of the Scholarly Record

Post-publication actions are intended to preserve, rather than obscure, the scholarly record. Where a correction, expression of concern, or retraction is issued, the relevant notice will be presented clearly and linked to the affected article whenever applicable.

JIMAT applies correction, retraction, expression of concern, and withdrawal procedures to protect the reliability of published research and maintain an accurate, transparent, and trustworthy scholarly record.

JIMAT: Journal of Information Management and Technology berkomitmen menjaga akurasi, transparansi, dan integritas rekam ilmiah setelah publikasi. Apabila ditemukan permasalahan terhadap suatu naskah atau artikel yang telah diterbitkan, jurnal akan menerapkan tindakan yang paling tepat dan proporsional sesuai dengan sifat, tingkat keparahan, dan dampak permasalahan tersebut.

Menangani artikel yang tidak lagi dapat dipercaya

Memberi peringatan saat persoalan belum terselesaikan
Withdrawal
Umumnya berlaku sebelum publikasi final
Correction

Correction dapat diterbitkan apabila terdapat kesalahan yang perlu diperbaiki, tetapi kesalahan tersebut tidak membatalkan keandalan, interpretasi, maupun kesimpulan utama artikel.

Catatan Koreksi

Catatan correction akan menjelaskan secara jelas informasi yang diperbaiki dan ditautkan dengan artikel asli agar pembaca dapat memahami sifat dan ruang lingkup perubahan tersebut.

Retraction

Retraction dapat diterbitkan apabila keandalan atau integritas artikel yang telah diterbitkan mengalami persoalan serius. Dasar retraction dapat mencakup:

• Kesalahan besar yang memengaruhi keandalan
• Pelanggaran penelitian atau publikasi
• Plagiarisme
• Publikasi ganda atau redundan
• Fabrikasi atau falsifikasi
• Penelitian yang tidak etis
• Manipulasi proses peer review
• Penyalahgunaan identitas orang lain
• Pelanggaran integritas serius lainnya

Artikel yang diretraksi tidak akan dihapus secara diam-diam dari rekam ilmiah, kecuali dalam keadaan luar biasa yang berkaitan dengan kewajiban hukum, privasi, atau keselamatan. Status retraction akan ditampilkan secara jelas dan ditautkan dengan artikel asli.

Expression of Concern
Expression of Concern dapat diterbitkan apabila terdapat persoalan serius mengenai integritas atau keandalan suatu artikel, tetapi proses pemeriksaan belum selesai atau bukti yang tersedia belum cukup untuk menetapkan tindakan korektif akhir.
Withdrawal

Withdrawal pada umumnya berlaku terhadap naskah yang belum mencapai tahap publikasi final. Permohonan withdrawal harus diajukan oleh corresponding author melalui OJS atau melalui email resmi JIMAT di jimat@pthcn.org dengan menyertakan alasan yang jelas.

Pertimbangan Editorial

Editor akan mempertimbangkan tahap pemrosesan naskah, alasan pengajuan withdrawal, serta kebutuhan untuk menjaga integritas dan rekam administrasi proses editorial.

Transparansi Rekam Ilmiah

Tindakan pascapublikasi diterapkan untuk menjaga, bukan menghilangkan, rekam ilmiah. Apabila correction, expression of concern, atau retraction diterbitkan, pemberitahuan yang relevan akan ditampilkan secara jelas dan ditautkan dengan artikel yang terdampak apabila berlaku.
