Conflict of Interest Policy Kebijakan Konflik Kepentingan
Journal of Information Management and Technology

JIMAT: Journal of Information Management and Technology requires authors, editors, and reviewers to disclose any financial, professional, academic, institutional, personal, or other relationship that could reasonably be perceived to influence the objectivity of research, peer review, or editorial decision-making.

Transparency
Relevant interests must be disclosed clearly.
Independence
Decisions must remain free from inappropriate influence.
Impartiality
Review and editorial judgment must remain objective.
Accountability
Conflicts must be managed responsibly.
Responsibilities of Authors

Authors must disclose all relevant competing interests that could reasonably be perceived to influence the conduct, interpretation, or reporting of the research.

Conflict of Interest Statement

Authors must include a Conflict of Interest statement in the manuscript. Where no competing interests exist, authors should explicitly state that no conflict of interest exists.

Responsibilities of Reviewers
Reviewers must disclose any relationship or interest that could compromise, or reasonably be perceived to compromise, their impartiality. A reviewer must decline a review assignment when a conflict of interest could affect objective and independent assessment of the manuscript.
Responsibilities of Editors
Editors must disclose relevant conflicts of interest and must not handle manuscripts where their impartiality could reasonably be questioned. An editor with a conflict of interest must recuse themselves and transfer responsibility for the manuscript to an independent editor.
Potential Conflicts of Interest

Conflicts of interest may include, but are not limited to, the following relationships or circumstances:

• Financial interests
• Professional relationships
• Academic relationships
• Institutional affiliations
• Personal relationships
• Commercial or sponsorship interests
Research Funding and Editorial Independence

Research funding must be disclosed transparently, including the identity of the funder and grant information where applicable. Funding arrangements, Article Processing Charges, sponsorships, commercial relationships, or other financial considerations must not influence peer review, editorial assessment, or publication decisions.

Editorial Independence

JIMAT maintains the principle that scholarly and editorial decisions must be based on the quality, relevance, integrity, and scientific merit of the manuscript. Financial, institutional, personal, or commercial considerations must not determine the editorial outcome.

JIMAT: Journal of Information Management and Technology mewajibkan penulis, editor, dan reviewer untuk mengungkapkan setiap hubungan finansial, profesional, akademik, institusional, personal, maupun hubungan lainnya yang secara wajar dapat dianggap memengaruhi objektivitas penelitian, proses peer review, atau pengambilan keputusan editorial.

Transparansi
Kepentingan yang relevan harus diungkapkan secara jelas.
Independensi

Pernyataan Konflik Kepentingan

Penulis wajib mencantumkan Conflict of Interest Statement dalam naskah.

Bentuk Potensial Konflik Kepentingan
